each of magda k’s jacket and shirt styles are hand-made. meticulous attention to detail is a priority in each and every piece. all garments are sewn with french seams, mitered corners and are completely finished inside and out, so that many garments are reversible. our piping fabrics are custom cut on the bias and are carefully selected based on the weight and color of your fabric choice, this ensures they always compliment your jacket fabrics. magda k explains her philosophy in simple terms: whenever i design, the most important thing is to maintain the integrity of the fabric. beautiful fabric does not need to be embellished. i need to respect the fabrics purity; consequently, as you browse through our album, you can’t help but notice the simplicity and clarity of each design. the designs are not an extension of me; rather they are timeless classics complimenting and enhancing each wearer’s personality and lifestyle. they give voice to your love of beauty and natural fabrics. they acknowledge your appreciation of art!

the inherent beauty of this uniquely crafted collection is the magic of hand loomed fabrics which are often vegetable dyed or yarn dyed creating a kind of inconsistency that enhances the individuality of each garment. magda k's love of textures and colors has taken her to India where she has been collecting fabrics for 30 years. among her favorites are jacquard tapestry, various ribbed corrugated and
textures of different weaves as well as
solid color sateen with its beautiful sheen.
