mk lifestyle, inc. is the life-long dream and fulfillment of magda k.  magda kristoff left her native hungary in 1956 during the hungarian revolution; she arrived in new york city as a teenager in 1957.   she completed her secondary education, then followed her passion for the fashion world.   she became an assistant buyer while pursuing her education at the fashion institute of technology in new york city.

magda’s love of jewelry and accessories brought her to the wholesale jewelry industry in 1961.   in 1968 the new york times acclaimed magda as a rising young designer and as the youngest female vice president of a major jewelry corporation, richelieu.

two years later, magda started her own wholesale company,  magda k, inc.  her fascination with different cultures helps guide her designs to include many natural elements such as precious woods, bone and horn.  in her travels, all over the world, she has trained and worked with many artisans, weavers and carvers, to bring to her customers an individual dimension and style.  this enhances the uniqueness of each of her fashions and thus each individual.

magda thinks in color, texture, style and harmony.  the styles of her designs are long living, not a passing  fashion.  each design works well with the customer’s personality and lifestyle.  magda’s designs led her to communicate with the career woman by opening her boutique, mk lifestyle, in 1987.  her natural fiber designs are timeless classics and have been collected by “special” woman from all over the world.

after many successful years of designing and 18 years of providing her customers her designs from the boutique on madison avenue in new york city, she starts another chapter in her life.  magda is bringing her classic designs of natural fibers to cyberspace.  she is offering her custom designs to customers nationwide.  magda k designs provide “fun”,  “function”, “comfort”, “casual” and “glamour.”
